Saltwater wade fishing gear isn’t quite different from the regular wade fishing gear, the main difference being that, you have to consider the possibility of corrosion as you deal with saltwater. What this implies is that even though the title says “Saltwater”, you can still bank on the details of this article if you’re fishing in freshwater.
Waders: While some people would not mind wading in regular cloth, I strongly recommend that you get a wader. The idea behind wader is that; your cloth does not get wet after fishing. This is important as you don’t have to go about changing clothes before and after. There are different types of waders out there, depending on the season.
If you do more fishing in the winter, then an insulator wader is the best option, but if you fish a lot more during summer, a breathable wader is the best option. Whatever your choice is, comfort should come first.
